Week 5
There is no classes in week 5.
Week 6
In Week 6 there was a class about playing a video, starting and stopping the video, remove the video if it loses track of target in AR. In this class he showed how to use script in unity in both traditional way and visual scripting. In this class i have more understanding on how 3D works since im used to make 2D project, but other than that everything else is similar to what i already know.
Surface Level Proposal Document
Before i started meeting with Mr Razif, I originally got 4 AR App ideas, I did the meeting kind of late which is supposed to be before week 4 and i did it in week 6, so i haven't really went in depth exploring and write in detail for each of them. In the meeting i had with Mr Razif, i explained all 4 of my ideas to him and i discussed which one of the 4 ideas should i go more in depth for, and he suggested which one do i like the most and so i picked the PocketPal, an AR-powered mobile app featuring a smart, interactive digital companion that engages users through voice, touch, and activities to promote learning, habit-building, and personalized AI assistance.
Final Proposal Document
After i had the meeting, i instantly get straight into writing a proposal document for PocketPal and had another meeting 2 days after, on the meeting i explained deeper in detail on what the application offers. The feedback that i got was that the application will be highly technical due to AI API and Real-time Hand Tracking. So I made back up plans if the original plan doesn't work out. Since i have a prior experience in unity and also using the AI API, i am confident that i can make this application. Due to the short time frame needing to write this document the image is mostly still just a basic sketch and the example is put on the proposal presentation.
Presentation Video
The presentation slides is the more polished and summarized version of the Final Proposal Document
